The following are the two types of candle making classes that we offer, but we are always open to hearing your ideas:

Private Workshops

Looking to do something different for a girls night? Wanting to bring your colleagues together for an interactive workshop? Hosting a bachelorette weekend and wanting to create something memorable together? We offer private candle making workshops where we will come to your location to teach you how to make a candle from start to finish.

Local Event

Are you a local bar, brewery, winery or restaurant? Do you own a small business where you would like to host a candle making event? We would love to partner with you to host an event where guests can participate in a candle making class, while also trying your products/services and enjoying time at your location.

Some past events that have taken place, for example, are:

  • Flights & Flames at West Avenue Cider House where guests got to enjoy a flight of 3 different ciders
  • Wicks & Wine at Leaning Post Winery where guests also received a full wine tasting from the owner of the winery
  • Caesars & Candles at The Caesar Company where guests got to try one of the amazing caesars on their menu

Pricing

Included in our rates is all the supplies to make one candle per participant - to align with our sustainability practices, we ask that participants bring their own vessel to create the candle into, whether it be a favourite mug or grandma’s china that is collecting dust on the shelf. Additional vessels will be available for purchase at the event & the making of additional candles will be $8 per candle.

  • Small Group - $35 per person

    This rate is for any group with a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 20.

  • Large Group - $30 per person

    This rate is for any group with a minimum of 21 people and a maximum of 60.

The above rates do not include any offerings that the local venues may decide to include in ticket purchasing.

Travel of over an hour will be an additional $100 to cover gas and meals required on the road.
